Ambition 2024

This year will mark a real acceleration for the corporate social responsibility of the Schmidt Group. Sustainable development must become the primary criterion for our corporate strategy, and we want to measure our success not only in terms of sales, but also in terms of satisfied customers, satisfied employees and positive impact. With our B Corp certification as a concrete proof of our commitment, we are on our way to re-enchanting our business model in the service of a better life together!

Responsible purchasing

Schmidt Groupe is widely recognised for its responsible purchasing policy, which has been at the heart of the company’s DNA for many years. Beyond the primary mission of purchasing, which is to secure business throughout the value chain by controlling expenditure, Schmidt Groupe demonstrates exemplary practices. These practices have been recognised by two major awards:

  • The Trophy awarded by Décisions Achats 2023: Gold Prize in the Sustainable and Responsible Purchasing category. This award recognises the commitment and collective work of our teams.
  • The “Supplier Relations and Responsible Purchasing” label, awarded by the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance.Obtained in 2018 and 2021, Schmidt Group maintains this certification at an increasingly high level.

France’s leading manufacturer is using this purchasing policy to play a pioneering role and encourage its entire ecosystem to make a lasting positive impact. In collaboration with its stakeholders, the company is pursuing its actions to become a benchmark in this field.
